Dr Samer Henry
Senior Wireless Machine Learning Engineer at Charter Communications
About
Henry is a senior wireless machine learning engineer at Charter Communications. He holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto.
Current research
Wireless research and AI system design (3GPP, ITU, 5G NR and RAN standards, Internet-of-Things (IoT), Massive MIMO and mmWave for C-V2x enablers.
Future research vision
Deep learning methods in 6G wireless cellular systems will require versatile architectures and standardization policies. Henry's goal is to provide low latency high throughput connections for IoT applications, autonomous vehicles, and Industry 4.0 in order to reduce the impending overhead in today's networks moving towards higher frequencies.
